Description: This project located on Singing River Island was an expansion to an existing Navy wharf. The project required the installation of several hundred feet of 90 long tied back sheet pile wall, driving of precast concrete piling up to 24" square and 92' long, hydraulic dredging in a sensitive environment, placement of structural concrete, underwater concrete placement, precast concrete elements, post tensioning, storm and steam piping, electrical and communication installations, and building construction. The majority of the work was performed from a floating plant. Value engineering modifications to the structure were designed, submitted and accepted for sheet pile system and structural concrete.
